This research is to see what’s to come in the future for healthcare and women in it. As of right now, men are the majority in the medical field. My hypothesis is that with more women entering into medical school, in the coming years we will see an increase of them in healthcare. It will be based on quantitative research to clearly show the difference present day and what is to come. Over the age of 65 82.4 percent of physicians are male and 17.6 percent are female. 30 years old and under 39.4 percent are male, while 60.6 percent are female. Overall 65 percent are male physicians and 35 percent are female. Present day the medical field is a male dominated field, but we will see a change in that in the coming years, with more women entering the medical field.
