The politics of sex trafficking

The sex trafficking industry is one that is often overlooked and underestimated. This system affects millions of people and families worldwide, thus the necessity to bring more attention to the topic. Within the constraints of this paper I identify and utilize different political components of multiple countries where sex trafficking is especially prevalent. Through the discussion of the different factors that influence the sex trafficking industry I am able to address a multitude of circumstances that have lead to not only the creation of this system but its ability to continue on and thrive as well. By examining this industry on a global scale the similarities of different countries utilization of the sex trafficking industry are able to be conveyed; therefore providing evidence in support of my thesis presented in the paper.
