Within Norse mythology, there are several myths and poems that describe the entire cosmology and its layout in great detail. However, these details can be often be confusing, contradictory, or strange. There are numerous artistic representations of the worlds of Norse mythology, but in some shape or form, they are not sufficient or leave out some important detail. Our goal is to dive into the nitty-gritty of the cosmology and the many artistic representations in an attempt to make our own design. We will have a detailed visual presentation labeled with every important aspect (including areas, the god’s halls, bridges, mythological creatures, etc.) Depending on the final layout of the Norse universe after research, our presentation might be a 2D poster representation of a 3D design. Accompanying our poster, we will provide a detailed rationale and a full bibliography.
